Fox's Gotham has reportedly cast Brian McManamon to play Basil Karlo, the original Clayface, later this season, according to ComicBook. Clayface was mentioned as a possible addition to the show last year at Wondercon, but with this reported casting there is no word on if the character will transform into the supervillain himself.
In comic books, Basil Karlo is the original Clayface, created by Bob Kane. Karlo was a B-movie actor who used the costume of one of his on-screen roles to commit crime.
McManamon has previously appeared in Gossip Girl, and is best known as a stage actor and acting coach. The actor tweeted his casting -- although not the role -- earlier this month:

And in related DC-TV news, the CW has released a photo teasing Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak getting married in this week's episode. But given Wednesday's episode is titled "Broken Hearts," there appears to be something amiss -- perhaps moreso than how Smoak is standing after her injury earlier this year.
