ARA: Looking for a wedding photographer

A reader asks:

I am getting married in October and am looking for a photographer. The issue is that we are not having a traditional, full blown wedding. We are having a very small, simple church ceremony and an afternoon dinner/reception. So we are only looking for someone to take some family pictures at the church, after the ceremony.

I am guessing most photographers would not want to waste a Saturday in October on a small paycheck; not when there are full day events to book. Would you have any suggestions?
