They might have all joined the Victoria Secret ranks at the same time last year, but that doesn't mean Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner will get an invite to Bridget Malcolm's wedding in two months.
The Perth-born model, 23, opened up about her upcoming, low-key nuptials to Walking Shapes musician, Nathaniel Hoho, her "sexy", slinky wedding gown, and her guest list when speaking to Fairfax Media ahead of the Oscar de la Renta Fashion Week show at Sydney's Carriageworks on Friday night.

When asked whether there would be any celebrities in attendance at the July 23 nuptials in what she described as "Amish country" Pennsylvania, in particular Jenner and Hadid, the bubbly beauty said: "No, it's not going to be anything like that.

"All my family and my closest friends will be flying in, it will be really fun."
Sticking to her roots, Malcolm will wear a not-so-traditional gown by Australian label Lover when she walks up the aisle.

"It's sexy, but I quite like it. It fits. I put it on and felt like it was the one. I had shivers, it was amazing," she beamed.
Despite her years of just 23, she doesn't feel like she is rushing into marriage with Hoho, who she has known for around five years and been dating for two.
"I really feel that he's the one," she explained. "He is the only person on this planet that I want to spend the rest of my life with. He's the best person that I have met and he just makes me feel really good about myself when I am with him, so I am really OK with spending the rest of my life with him."

The main wedding (there will also be a wedding party on Rottnest Island in November) is in the northeastern US state, because Hoho "grew up in Mifflintown, which is like Amish country," she laughed. "He has a bison farm in the middle of nowhere... No, no, he is not Amish," she added.
Family planning
Although starting a family is certainly on the cards, Malcolm feels like she might be too young for children just yet.

"I want to have kids definitely, it's on the horizon but I am still a kid myself, I have a few more years of being a kid," she said.
When the time is right, she won't worry about a family hindering her modelling career.
"Definitely not in this day and age," she said. "I feel like models bounce back after having a baby and they usually come back with a better body than before - not that has anything to do with having a baby... I think it's going to be super easy for girls."
She said times have changed for models and that becoming a mother almost makes them more marketable.
"People are very interested in how models stay in shape these days, especially with pregnancy weight. Everyone wants to know how you get it off and how you are healthy," she explained.
She mentioned fellow Perth model and new mum, Nicole Trunfio, and her 15-month-old son with Gary Clark Jr, Zion: "That girl is a babe and her baby is so cute."
Malcolm flew back Down Under from her US base for MBFWA, and sat front row for some of the top shows, including Toni Maticevski, By Johnny and Rebecca Vallance. She didn't partake in any of the shows, but said she still had "so much fun".
"I wasn't really sure how I'd be at the other end of fashion shows but I had a really good time. It's been interesting and I hope to do it again in the future," Malcolm, who was wearing a Burberry dress, Ellery blazer and vintage black hat, said.
Asked if she would be popping back to Perth for a quick visit, she said: "I wish, I don't have time. I have a few more days in Sydney before I fly back to America but I hope I'll be back sometime soon."
