Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski enjoyed a whirlwind romance when they met on The Bachelor last year and fell head-over-heels in love, and while their union was public and fast-paced, their wedding and plans to move in together will be anything but.
Speaking to Fairfax Media at the launch of the new Weet-Bix Blends range on Tuesday, the loved-up pair, who could barely keep their hands or lips off each other, said they wanted to do their wedding "privately" and "properly", and "not rush it".

Explaining that they are just starting to enjoy "some normalcy" in their lives, they have yet to set a wedding date after their December engagement.

"No dates yet," Snezana said, while keeping one hand on her husband-to-be's lower back.
"Sometime next year. It's been a crazy 12 months, let's just take a deep breath and do it properly and do it privately," Sam explained.

While Snezana added: "... and not rush it."
'No TV wedding'
The word "private" had a crushing effect on this reporter, who loved watching their (as they say in The Bachelor biz) "journey" that started from the moment Sam's eyes nearly fell out of his head when he clocked the Perth scientist.
But despite some pleas that they might change their minds on the idea of televising their "I dos", which they said in the past they would consider, there was a resounding "no".
"No TV wedding," Snez said, while Sam followed it up with: "There might be some photos but I think that will be it."
They were shtum on any further wedding details, but they did confirm it will be Melbourne based.
Like the wedding, moving in together is not on the top of their priority list either, despite the pair buying a charming three-bedroom house in a family-friendly Melbourne suburb last year.
"We are getting there. We bought a house, we are just getting it ready. [We are] slowly but surely decorating that and turning it into our little home," Sam explained.
Usually finishing each other's sentences, Snezana added: "In the near future hopefully."
It was suggested a move could take place during the end of Snezana's daughter Eve's next school term, but they both said: "I don't know". "Maybe," Snezana suggested.
Speaking of Eve, they both lit up when they spoke about flying to Perth together on Wednesday to celebrate her 11th birthday.
"She'll always be my baby," Snezana gushed as Sam joked about the mum-of-one walking Eve hand-in-hand to school everyday, despite the gates being "just 25 metres away".
'Curious' for Richie
They are "curious" to watch Richie Strahan on the upcoming Bachelor.
"I had never seen the show before being on the show," Sam laughed. "It'll be weird to watch and think, 'I know what's happening here,' or 'I don't know what's going on here.' I'll be intrigued."
He couldn't be busier at the moment as he enjoys the success of his 28:28 exercise program and running his Melbourne-based gym The Woodshed.
The health and fitness guru says Weet-Bix Blends are a "good, easy, healthy option. They are low in sugar, low in salt and you can add fruit to it and mix it up."
In fact, he eats the cereal for breakfast a "couple of times a week" – an astonishing "8 to 10" pieces at a time to be exact.
