This 9-year-old girl is already a successful wedding photographer

It's wedding season, and couples are asking for a promising young photographer by name — even though she's still in grade school.

Regina Wyllie, at only 9 years old, is quickly becoming one of Scotland's most famous wedding photographers. She works with her father's company, KSG Photography.

In an email to Mashable, Wyllie said her favorite part about being a photographer is "being able to capture something nice for people to enjoy."

Regina Wyllie's photo was chosen for Think Tank Photo's Facebook ad campaign.

"Regina first picked up one of my compact cameras at the age of just 3 and started asking questions about taking photos and setting cameras pretty soon afterwards," Regina's father Kevin Wyllie wrote on his blog.

Even though couples are requesting the 9-year-old to shoot their weddings, according to My Modern Met, some people doubt the authenticity of her work.

"I've seen a lot of people asking whether she edits her photos herself and a few comments that her wedding pics have received a lot of manipulation," Kevin Wyllie told Mashable.

However, he insists, very little editing is done to her shots. "Regina edits her own photos in Lightroom, with me guiding her along the way," he said. "I sit beside her and talk her through the process."

Even though it sounds like Regina is a natural photographer, she told Mashable that she wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up.

With a successful photography career before she's even hit double digits, Regina Wyllie surely has the drive to become anything she wants.
