Today's real wedding is a little bit different.
There's no centrepieces, no wedding cake, and no bouquets. There is however a groom, a bride, and some seriously gorgeous style.
Elizabeth & Rick are childhood friends who eloped in New Orleans with just four friends by their side.
And one of them, Anna Elizabeth Photo (who also happened to be maid of honour!) was on hand to document their day.
A flower crown, a beautiful chapel and a very cool city, the simplicity of this fun wedding pretty much speaks for itself.
So we'll say no more, and pass you over to Anna to tell us more about this sweet occasion…
Rick & Elizabeth eloped in New Orleans with only four friends and the super intimate feel stands out.
They got ready together, (need I say more) and then we walked around town and found an awesome chapel. I got to be the main photographer and maid of honor (awesome!) We loved the candid feel of the photos.
The couple have known each other since they were kids. Their parents are best friends. They didn't tell their parents till the week after.
Elopements always look so relaxed and fun – I guess that's what makes them so tempting, right?
I love that they took time out for a post wedding photo session afterwards too, so romantic. (And it looks like their parents were pretty chuffed for them as well!).
Thanks so much to Anna Elizabeth Photo, and of course Elizabeth & Rick for sharing their French Quarter elopement with us.
