Santa Clarita Valley Photographers Spring Print Competition Photos On Display In City Hall

The winning photographs from the Santa Clarita Valley Photographers Association's Spring Print Competition will be on display in the first floor gallery of city hall through November, and residents are invited to view the variety of amateur and professional shots taken by local photographers. The gallery will be displayed from July 21 through November 21.

"The Santa Clarita Valley Photographers Association is a group of dedicated photographers both amateur and professional that meets monthly to learn about photography and share images," according to their website, and is dedicated to advancing the art and business of photography.

The Santa Clarita Valley Photographers Association Spring Print Competition took place on Saturday, May 13 at the Sierra Hills Clubhouse. The annual competition features members' artwork in a variety of categories.

The winners of each category and those receiving a merit will be featured in the exhibition in the first floor gallery.

Residents can attend a free public reception on Wednesday, July 26, at 6 p.m. to enjoy light appetizers, live music and mingle with the artists featured in the exhibit.
