Beautiful Bliss: Folake Ajose & Danny Oshungboye’s Wedding | 2706 Events

Folake Ajose and Danny Oshungboye met at a mutual friend's birthday party. Not wanting to look 'forward', the groom Danny didn't ask for Folake's number, but waited till the next day to send her a message on Facebook.

That message was the right call, as sparks flew through the screen, and the couple hasn't looked back since. A surprise proposal at The Ritz London sealed their love, and the couple got married this September in Lagos.

~ Pre-Wedding Photos: Sottu PhotographyHow We MetFolake: Danny and I met at a friend's birthday party. I noticed Danny as he walked past me to have his seat, he had a big smile on his face as he said, "hello". After dinner, the party continued at Steam Bar in London where we chatted briefly.

Danny: I didn't want to ask her for her number during the evening as I didn't want to be rude.

Folake: So he sent me a message on Facebook the following day. It was clear from then on we had a strong connection, we went on our first date the following weekend and the rest is history!The ProposalDanny proposed on a special night out at The Ritz London. He said he was taking me out to celebrate my birthday and my recent job promotion and that we were going to have steak. He was all suited and booted and his shirt was as white and crisp as snow. He nagged me for not wearing a dress lol… so I thought to myself "007" action. After a lovely dinner and a salsa performance, I was presented with a dish by the chef, eager to see what the dessert was I urged the chef to unveil the dish. He paused for a moment, looking towards Danny and there was a beautiful, sparkling diamond ring from De Beers….It sat on a well decorated plate with a bed of roses… Danny was now on his knees, and popped the question. My advice for other couples going through this process is centered on three things: Pray, Plan, and enjoy the process. Ensure you attend a pre-marital class together and you would have set a good foundation for a happy life together.

A freak snowstorm saw eight inches of fresh powder fall on their special day

The couple were delighted that their wish for a winter wonderland wedding came true. 

Snow began to fall at the start of the ceremony on Saturday.

When the bride, groom and their guests reemerged an hour later snow had given the area a magical appearance. 

Unsurprisingly, the photos are simply stunning.

Wedding photographer Paul Liddement captured a series of incredible shots of the happy pair. 

The groom held a white umbrella over the bride's head as he dipped her for a romantic kiss. 

Bustling bride Carly, 30, works in the family business making and selling Land Rover parts. 

She said: "We were absolutely thrilled when we saw the snow, it felt so magical."

This wedding photographer did something truly special

This beautiful photo of Amanda and her late daughter Azalee has gone viral.

IT'S A rare and beautiful thing when you find someone who takes their love and care for their job to this level.

This wedding photo has fast gone viral after photographer Ashley Frantz posted it to her Facebook page.

In her post, she explains that the lady in the wedding dress is her wonderful friend Amanda. On the right is a transparent image of her daughter, Azalee, in her arms.

Azalee is transparent because she passed away in 2013, following a battle with cancer. She wasn't even able to meet Chip, the man who would that day become Amanda's new husband. She was just six years old when she passed on.

Amanda was heartbroken that her little girl wouldn't be there for the special occasion, so Ashley did something incredible. She managed to incorporate a photo of little Azalee into some of the wedding pictures for her friend.

Frantz wrote that the couple released butterflies during the ceremony in remembrance of little Azalee, and there was "not a dry eye to be seen".

She said: "As the butterflies flew up and away, one little beauty decided she wanted to stay a while. She landed right on Amanda (closest to her heart) and stayed while a heart-wrenching cry was shared between the bride and groom (and the entire congregation).

"We all know it was Azalee, just a little whisper from her and God saying "congratulations" and letting everyone know she was nearby to help her mommy cross over into her new path of life...where there is nothing but sunshine ahead!!"

The bride has made the photo her profile picture on Facebook. She wrote: "Words could not express how satisfied I am with Frantz Photography. This beautiful soul was able to capture an absolutely priceless moment on my wedding day with my sweet girl who passed 2 years ago.

"She found a way to include her in my bridal and she did it so well. God has blessed Ashley with many talents and there is no one else o (sic) would have wanted taking pictures on our most special day."
