Keith Urban Celebrates 10th Anniversary With Nicole Kidman and Shares Their First Photo Together

On Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman's 10th wedding anniversary, the country singer is reminiscing about a day that changed their lives forever: The day they met.

The two met in January 2005 at the annual G'Day LA: Australia Week gala in Los Angeles. Urban, 48, posted on his Instagram page Saturday a photo of him and Kidman at the event.

"Our very first photo together 2005, minutes after being introduced to each other," he wrote. "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABY. LOOOOOOOOVE YOU!!!!!!!!! xxxxxxxxx - KU."

The 49-year-old Oscar-winning actress attended the party with her sister Antonia and wore a glittering black fringe dress. Urban was dressed in a black velvet sports jacket and collared shirt opened to reveal much of his chest. Producer Kerry Roberts introduced Urban to Kidman, The Daily Telegraph Australia reported.

The actress has said that at the time, she was in a "very wary, very damaged'' state of mind and was hardly responsive to a potential new suitor. Less than four years earlier, she and Tom Cruise had finalized their divorce after about 10 years of marriage.

"I thought, 'Gosh, I'd really like to meet her,'" Urban said about Kidman on The Oprah Winfrey Show. "I have never met her and we're both from Australia and I'm sure we share some similar journey to get where we are. She walked into the green room where I was...she glided across the room, like floated. I don't know how she did it. It was out of this world."

Urban told Winfrey he was a little bit intimated about meeting the actress.

"There was a split moment where she wasn't with anybody and there was nobody around and I thought, 'Oh, I'll just go up and say hi,'" he said. "And I plucked up the courage to go and do it very nervously and trying to be all cool. She was very pleasant and everything. There was that moment of waiting for the next thing to be said, at which I didn't know if I was bothering her or what was going on, so I just sort of said, 'Well, nice to meet you' and I walked away."

"And she stood there for a moment and she walked away and then I thought, 'Was I supposed to say more?' A friend of mine said, 'I think she wanted to talk to you,'" he continued. "I went back over and apologized and we just started talking and just really clicked."

Urban and Kidman soon began dating and married on June 25, 2006 at a church in Sydney. They have two daughters, Sunday Rose, 7, and Faith Margaret, 5.

This 9-year-old Wedding Photographer Is What Every Couple Wants on Their Wedding Day

What were you doing when you were 9-year-old? Probably playing peek-a-boo or crying bovver that dress your mom wants you to wear. Well, Regina Wyllie is an established wedding photographer at the age of 9 who is in huge demand among couple who are getting hitched.

Her father, who is a photographer himself, is often requested by brides to bring along the exceptionally talented kid whenever he is out shooting for a wedding. Regina has been taking photos for the last five years now and her work can take your breath away.

Regina has already covered several bike races, fashion shoots and pre wedding shoots with her father. The ebst thing about the girl is that, she does not let her hobby affect her studies. When her school was organizing a photography competition, she was asked to give a talk on photography tips to her schoolmates.

She first picked up the camera when she was only three and according to her father since then she has never stopped. Regina, who always wanted to be a fashion designer, now feels that she can take photography as a full-fledged career, although she is sceptical about taking wedding photography. It was two years ago that Regina's talent became apparent to the world when a website picked up one of her photos for an advertisement that the little girl had taken while at work with her daddy.

The Stuff of Nightmares Happened Right After This Beautiful Wedding Photo Was Taken

According to the couple's wedding photographer, Maddie Mae, they were taking photos about 50 feet from the parking lot at Horsetooth Reservoir in Fort Collins, Colorado, when the creature attacked. Luckily, a park ranger was driving by at the time and the three of them waved him down.

Sign up for Women's Health's new newsletter, So This Happened, to get the day's trending stories and health studies.

"The ranger…yelled back, 'Congratulations!' at the couple in wedding clothes," Maddie tells WomensHealthMag.com. "But then when he got the message, he came over and had Johnny lay down and elevate his leg while the paramedics were arriving."

Initially they weren't sure if the snake had injected venom or not, so it was unclear whether or not the couple would make it to their reception. Worst-case scenario, Johnny would've been stuck in the hospital on anti-venom for days. Luckily, once they arrived at the emergency room, it was determined that no venom had been injected.

"The people in the ER at Poudre Valley Hospital then became the heroes, as they made it the world's shortest ER visit in history, and Johnny and Laura were back in my car, driving to their reception in less than 20 minutes," says Maddie. "We arrived back at the reception, just one hour late."

When it came time for the grand entrance to the reception, Maddie says she has never seen such an emotional response. "The whole reception was filled with laughs, smiles, and jokes about it being a typical 'Johnny Benson' wedding experience," she says.

One thing we can take away from this experience—if Laura and Johnny were able to make it through that ordeal, smiling and holding hands the whole time, they're likely to make it through anything.

Bottom-line – It simply makes them a dab-hand at photography and so well-liked.

It is also very true that not only an organization's records brings it in high public demand, but also its pricing format. The much it looks pocket-friendly, the more projects one can expect. Videographer crashes camera drone during wedding

RIO DE JANEIRO, June 23 (UPI) -- A wedding photographer in Brazil immortalized his own mistake when he crashed his video drone into a tree branch during the ceremony.

The video features a drone's-eye-view of a wedding ceremony in progress in Brazil as the drone flies away from the couple for a wider shot.

The drone doesn't get far from the wedding party before it hits a tree branch and crashes to the ground in a nearby parking lot.

The videographer retrieves his device and the footage ends with the man filming his own pants while walking.

This wedding crasher was a snake in the grass

Johnny Benson and his new wife, Laura, were strolling hand in hand through a lush green field in Fort Collins, Colorado on Monday. They said "I do" less than two hours before at a church.

As the sun began to set, wedding photographer Madeleine Wilbur captured their intimate first moments together as newlyweds.

Then their photoshoot was photobombed.

A sneaky rattlesnake slithered up to Johnny and gave him an unwanted wedding present -- a chomp on his ankle.

Ouch!

Wilbur, whose business name is Maddie Mae, caught the whole "surreal" ordeal on camera and snapped colorful photos of the couple's wild wedding day.

"I couldn't really help in any way except continue to do my job and capture the story of their wedding day," Wilbur said. "I'm glad I got to tell their story!"

A park ranger examining Johnny's foot, Laura standing beside Johnny's hospital bed in her wedding dress, and finally the couple triumphantly arriving at their reception. This is the story their wedding album will tell.

Having photographed couples in the jungles of Costa Rica and hiked mountains for the perfect shot, Wilbur didn't expect her only indoor wedding this year to be so eventful.

Wilbur rode behind the ambulance as they rushed to the emergency room at Poudre Valley Hospital, and drove the couple to their wedding reception after doctors had determined that the rattlesnake had not injected any venom.

Arriving just one hour late, the couple made a grand entrance.

"All 184 guests cheered when Johnny and Laura walked in, and showered them in a sea of passionate hugs," Wilbur said.

"I admire Laura and Johnny so much for staying calm, and holding each other's hand through the first great test of their brand new marriage."

Rattlesnake bites Colorado groom during wedding photos

Judy Benson and the wedding guests were waiting and waiting and waiting for her son and his new bride to arrive at the wedding reception.

After the ceremony in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Collins, the couple stopped at Horsetooth Reservoir near Fort Collins to take photographs.

Unfortunately for Johnny Benson, 44, and his bride Laura, 33, a rattlesnake also wanted a moment in the spotlight.

The snake bit Benson on his lower leg as they walked a trail and wedding photographer Maddie Mae snapped pictures.

"All of a sudden it was like someone kicked me in the shin. Then I looked over and saw the snake sitting there, and it was rattling," Benson said.

The couple flagged down a ranger who called an ambulance to take him to Poudre Valley Hospital.

That's when Judy Benson got a call from Mae, the wedding photographer alerting her that the couple's arrival at the reception would be delayed.

Having the newlyweds burst into the emergency room caused a stir, Judy Benson said. The bride was still wearing her long gown and veil, the groom was flat on his back on a gurney.

And the wedding photographer kept clicking.

Fortunately Benson was lucky. The snake delivered a "dry bite," which didn't inject venom into the wound.

"Once we got to the emergency room, it was super, super, fast," Laura Benson said.

The groom was able to leave the emergency room after he got a tetanus shot and the couple was able to attend their wedding reception.

The episode "was pretty epic," Laura Benson said. "It was scary for a minute."

Snake encounters and bites typically spike in early spring and late fall, said Mary Ann Bonnell, Jefferson County Open Space visitor service manager.

Bonnell and fellow park rangers have advice for trail users when it's snake season:

  • Don't wear sandals.
  • Ditch the ear buds so you can hear the telltale warning rattle.
  • Don't try to  hurry a sunning snake with a stick or rocks.
  • "Generally people are not bitten by a snake they leave alone," Bonnell said. "Give it space and time to leave."
