Besides the whole "marrying Magic Mike XXL hunk Joe Manganiello this weekend" thing, Sofia Vergara is your average bride: She's admitted to being a bit of a "bridezilla", she's planning on surrounding herself with plenty of family and friends on her big day and she has stepped up her beauty regimen in advance of the wedding. And you're in luck — we've got all the details of the Modern Family star's pre-wedding beauty routine. Brides-to-be, take note.

N.Y.C.-based dermatologist Dr. Dendy Engelman, who has been working with Vergara since May 2011, says they started prepping for the wedding about 10 weeks in advance.

"We started with Intense Pulse Light, which is a light-based device which helps to target both red and brown spots. People sometimes refer to it as a 'photo facial,' " Engelman tells PEOPLE. "That helps to accelerate cell turnover, build collagen, even out skin tone."

Engelman shares that Vergara had this photo facial applied to her face, neck and chest twice over the course of the 10 weeks. Additionally, because Engelman says her client is "prone to rosacea," she also treated Vergara's whole face with a Pulsed Dye Laser, which targets redness and inflammation.

"We also started the OxyLight facial. It's awesome for any bride. If you don't want to commit to a laser therapy but you want to look your wedding day best, then that one is one that you can do," Engelman explains. "It builds on itself, so you can do six treatments or you can do one, and you're still going to see improvements."

According to Engelman, the OxyLight facial includes oxygen infusion, diamond microdermabrasion, microcurrent stimulation to tighten facial muscles, ultrasonic massage to reduce puffiness and exposure to LEDs to target problem areas.

"People will go in for a session and literally 45 minutes later, when they come out, they'll look like a different person."

Engelman also recommended Vergara use Nerium Firming Body Contour lotion to tighten the skin on her chest and arms, Natura Bisse anti-inflammatory skin products, SkinCeuticals' Phyto-Corrective gel and NuGene Universal Serum. Engelman adds that Vergara "taught" her about Vita Liberata self-tanner, which she says the actress "loves."

So what will Vergara look like on her wedding day?

"The self-tanner will definitely be on so she can look like a bronzed beauty, and then I also gave her this Moroccanoil Shimmering Body Oil. It's really pretty and gives the skin a beautiful glow, so I am sure she will have that on for her wedding day glow," Engelman says. "And then she'll have her hair and makeup team making her look just perfect. I told her if she has any flushing to use the Phyto-Corrective gel."

And although Engelman doesn't know too many details about the wedding dress, she can make a guess based on all the treatments she applied to Vergara's neck, chest and arms.

"I think she's good at showing off her form — I would be happy too if I had that!" Engelman says. "I can't imagine that she will go long-sleeved on her wedding day."
