Trusting your dog to film your wedding day might not seem the most sensible idea.
But one couple did just that, and the results are as beautiful as they are unique.
Josh and Addie Burnette's pet pooch Ryder was trusted to capture the special moment the couple were married at the top of Roan Mountain in Tennessee.

The video was shared on YouTube by the groom, who writes: 'It was cold and magical. Our dog, Ryder, insisted on filming the wedding video, so we let her do her thing.
'She took a while to edit the footage, but we think she did a great job.'
The footage begins at a house, with the GoPro firmly strapped to Siberian Husky Ryder. She captures the bride giving her a wave in a dressing gown as she readies herself for the big day.
The curious canine then has a wander around the home, checking that everything is going to plan. We see the bride again, and then the room that will host the reception.

Ryder is then on hand to capture this moment Addie puts on the dress, as another guest takes her own photo of the special moment.
It's then time to get the ball rolling, and the trustworthy pooch steps foot onto the snow-covered ground outside to make her way to the wedding venue.
Traversing up hills and through gates, Ryder captures a beautiful scenic shot of a tree-covered landscape, before he does what every dog wants to do and sprints through the snow, weaving in and out of the branches.

But playtime is soon over, and it's time for the serious stuff.
The group find a clearing among the trees, and the bride removes her thick-padded coat to show off her beautiful, white flowing dress.
Ryder has the perfect spot to capture the moment the couple exchange the rings and kisses.
After a quick cuddle with the new Mrs Burnette, it's bac k to the house for the reception and celebration.

There Ryder captures the happy, smiling moments shared by adults and children alike who toast the happy couple.
The video is ended perfectly as Ryder approaches the bride who flashes her ring to the camera to round off her perfect day.
Speaking to Refinery29.com, the delighted bride said: 'We actually eloped, so everything was last minute, including my wedding dress,'
'The cool thing about it is that we eloped to the same mountain where we had our first date ten years before, and it just so happened to snow two feet that day.
'Ryder did a pretty great job, we've had several comments that she did better than most hired wedding videogr aphers.'
