Syrian wedding photographer uses war-torn Homs as backdrop

Photographer Jafar Meray has received international coverage for his pictures.

On his most recent shoot, Meray was joined by Agence France-Presse news photographer Joseph Eid, who took these photos.

Canada is ending airstrikes in Syria while adding trainers on the ground.

On Monday Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Canada's bombing missions in Syria would end by Feb. 22, while detailing a three-year humanitarian mission.
